Wine Tasting Special - Chianti
We want to offer you something very unusual. Remaining in the realms of the wine world but with another dimension added to the Wine Tasting that you would normally expect.
We will pick you up and take you to a characteristic village in the heart of Chianti. Located in one of the many stunning historic buildings is a small luxury bed and breakfast. The policy of the owners is to promote the benefits of wine in all its forms.
In the midst of a room lined with bottles of wine, something like a wine library, is a bath made from wine barrels. The deep burgundy colour of wine is the colour inside the bath. The name is the Baccus Bath and the experience is described by the proprietors as being immersed in the nectar of the Gods.
Imagine luxuriating in a deep warm bath with the scent of wine minerals and a glass of Chianti Classico in hand. Twenty minutes of sheer indulgence. Follow this with a soft robe and a short time to meditate with your wine.
Once redressed you will be served with a delicious lunch served with another great local wine.
Only after all this self-indulgence will we transport you back to the real world.
Chianti has much to offer, not least the fabulous wine. This Tour gives you a chance to step back in time and totally and utterly relax.
